RONZ Yuzon of Cabanatuan Racing Team clinched both the overall and production wheel best time by clocking 47.74 in the second leg of the Race Motorsports Club Phoenix Slalom Invitational Challenge held last Aug. 21 at Robinsons Place Calasiao Pangasinan.
Second place went to Pekto Pakutkot with 47.78, followed by Carlos Anton with 48.38.
Completing the top six are Mike Simbulan of Team Comet (48.86), Dion Ortiz f Javspeed Racing Team (49.22) and Kiko Dysico of San Jose Nueva Ecija (49.80).
Meanwhile, Ortiz bagged the novice best time with a clocking of 49.22, even as Dysico (49.80) and Reden Dizon (50.24) of Team Comet placed second and third respectively.
The 2016 Race Motorsports Club Phoenix Slalom Invitational is powered by Phoenix Premium’98 and Phoenix Accelerate fully synthetic motor oil and co-sponsored by Federal Tyres, Outlast Battery.
It is also supported by Starbright Body Kits, Auto Transporter, media partners Stoplight TV, Inside Motoring, DZRJ-Am, Pinoy Speed sa mga Pahayagan and Spin.Ph Sports Interactive Network, C! Magazine, Robinsons Malls, Robinsons Place Calasiao Pangasinan and medical team Aeromed.
Different clubs joined the event, headed by Corolla Auto Club Baguio, Speed Limits Pangasinan, Cabanatuan Auto Club, Wholesome Concepts, Speedjav, Team Kuneho, Greenlight La Union, MITTC, Team Comet Tarlac and privateers from Dagupan and Pangasinan.
Class and overall winners received four liters of Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic oil, even as each slalom driver got a gallon free of the synthetic oil.
The third Phoenix Slalom Invitational will be on Nov. 20, back at Robinsons Calasiao Pangasinan.
