MILO Rivera once again dominated the overall and production best time of the day during the eighth leg of the RACE Motorsports Club Phoenix National Slalom Series at Robinsons Starmills in Pampanga recently.
Traversing the wet course almost throughout the day, Rivera clocked 48.52 and stole the win from Jevoy Moreno, who placed a close second with 48.72.
Milo’s brother Estefano Rivera placed third with a clocking of 48.90, followed by Dr. Peewee Mendiola (49.42) and Richard Gallardo (49.68).
Dion Ortiz bagged the novice best time of the day with 50.34, with Reden Dizon his runner-up.
Moreno also grabbed the front wheel best time of 48.72, while Gallardo placed second with 49.68. Both are from the AF Racing Team.
Winners of the seventh leg received their awards plus 4 liters of Phoenix Accelerate fully synthetic motor oil.
The eighth leg was again highlighted by the participation of the seven winners in the Automobile Association of the Philippines’ Motorsports development program, which was coached by Vip and Ivan Isada and supervised by Mark Desales.
Team Big Chill, Tough Gear Racing Team, Aeromed Racing, Speed Jav Cabanatuan, AF Racing Team Bulacan, Team Comet Tarlac and Pongga Racing Team participated in the event.
The 2016 Phoenix National Slalom Series is powered by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate fully synthetic oil and co-sponsored by Federal Tyres, Outlast Battery and Robinsons Malls.

The ninth leg will be on Aug. 7 at Robinsons Antipolo, wherein winners of the July 10, eighth leg will receive their awards.
