A tropical depression currently affects weather across the country.
PAGASA calls the storm ‘Carina.’

It was spotted 195 kilometers east of Borongan, Eastern Samar.
The tropical depression carries strength of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and is moving northwest at 11 kph.
‘Carina’ is expected to dump rains in Eastern Visayas, Bicol and CARAGA region.
The tropical depression will enhance the southwest monsoon, which is expected to become stronger on Saturday.
Carina may make landfall in Cagayan Valley on Sunday.
