A two-story, four-classroom schoolbuilding in the Efraim Santibañez National High School campus has been turned over to school officials and local government officials by donors, SM Foundation and BDO Foundation.
In a lot donated by Edmund Santibañez, the National High School is home to 200 students from barangays Sto. Tomas, Nueva Union, Pataugan, Agtambo, Sarapan, Aglalana, Mola-pola, Cabunga and Passi. The donation came complete with chairs, blackboards, electric fans, teachers’ tables and toilets. Books were likewise donated to the school library.
Mayor Jesry Palmares as well as school principal Nelson Palma and Maura Pail, Schools Division superintendent, received the donation from Mesdames Debbie P. Sy of SM Foundation, Maureen Abelardo of BDO Foundation and Linda Atayde, SMFI executive director for Education.
