ACTRESS Bea Alonzo is part of many Filipino homes since she played the roles of Basha in the iconic youth film One More Chance, Jackie in the telenovela Maging Sino Ka Man, or Sari in the hit movie The Mistress.
Today, Bea has found another home in Sta. Lucia Land as the Kapamilya star signed up to represent Sta. Lucia Land Inc. and its over 200 real estate projects.

Bea grew up in a Sta. Lucia-developed community in Pasig City. And she always looks back to those happy, carefree days where she established her roots.
“The fact that up to this day, my mom still lives there only means that our family loves it there. It is a quiet neighborhood strategically located and close to schools, church, malls, market,” Bea says.
Bea for a time lived in a condominium after moving out of her mother’s house.
“Looking back, condo living trained me to be on my own. I would recommend it to young people like my brother. It also helped me to discover what I really want in a home,” divulges Bea.
At present, Bea owns a beautiful, contemporary house that is suited for a busy bachelorette like her. It’s a blend of different Asian design elements that reflects the actress’ interest in Asian architecture and home interiors.
“Even now, I’m continuing to collect ideas for what I want when I finally buy a house to start a family in. What I have noticed is that I’m really drawn towards Asian design,” she adds. “I especially like Japanese and Filipino design. I guess it just makes sense because Asian design has been conceptualized with our climate in mind.”
Bea has a few essentials in mind of the dream home she’ll build in the future. One of these is a large, well-stocked kitchen.
“I have always wanted a big kitchen. I’m actually a homebody, and one of my favorite pastimes is cooking,” expounds Bea. “Even now in my bachelorette pad, I have an adequate kitchen, but I want a bigger one eventually.”
Another essential for her dream home is an office area.
“Many people are surprised that I need a home office for my line of work, but actually it’s essential. It’s where I keep important documents and even my scripts,” she adds.
Bea also adds that location is an important factor to her purchasing property.
“I think more than ever the proximity of any property I buy to work is very important. Every year, traffic is just about getting worse and worse. So, for my dream home, I want something conveniently located from work, something that’s at most 30 minutes from work, but is also not located in a congested, constricted area,” adds Bea.
This endorsement with Sta. Lucia Land is the star’s first one with any real estate firm. She states that she is honored to be chosen to be the face of the developer. “Sta. Lucia has already built itself as a trusted company in the field of real estate, so I’m looking forward to working with them through this endorsement,” says Bea.
