More than 150 students from 63 organizations gathered at The Globe Tower in Bonifacio Global City for Globe Telecom’s first Student Community Builder Pitch Day, aimed at supporting student-led initiatives through mentorship and collaboration.

Participants from Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Cavite engaged with Globe professionals and toured the company’s workspaces, where they were given the opportunity to pitch projects related to technology, creativity, and leadership.

Students from various academic tracks—including humanities, science and technology, and business—were mentored by Globe employees from cybersecurity, communications, and IT development teams. They were given insights on building careers aligned with their interests.

The event featured presentations from school-based groups such as Google Developer Groups, AWS Cloud Clubs, and organizations from Ateneo, UP Diliman, PLM, DLSU-Dasmariñas, and iAcademy.

College of Saint Benilde student Martin Eusebio hosted the event, helping connect participants with resources to pursue their proposals.

“The Student Community Builder Pitch Day is one of the ways Globe is reinforcing its role as an enabler of the youth. We believe in the potential of students not only as future professionals but as changemakers today,” said Anne Calma, head of Marketing Youth Cultures at Globe. “By providing a space where they can be heard, guided, and supported, we hope to inspire more young people to take bold steps in shaping their communities.”

Globe said the initiative reflects its effort to promote purpose-driven innovation and student engagement through real-world support.
