Filipino fashion designer Viña Romero is back with her latest collection, Palagi (“Always”). Known for pouring her personal journey into every piece, Romero’s new collection pushes the boundaries of timeless design, celebrating both consistency and evolution.

The collection connects with those who value timeless style with meaning. And Rustan’s is the ideal place for Palagi, sharing Romero’s focus on craftsmanship and authenticity.

Through the collection, Romero tries to blend the traditional design with innovation ko

Palagi is all about perseverance and balance, continuing Romero’s ongoing narrative. Building on the themes from her previous collection, Oras (“Time”), which explored trusting life’s natural flow, Palagi goes further by embracing the power of being present and the journey of growth.

According to the young designer, the collection “blends tradition and innovation, with a focus on harmonizing the fleeting with the lasting, the practical with the artistic—always trusting the process.”

Barongs are redesigned with contemporary elements and vibrant color palettes

Signature elements that define Romero’s style are front and center in Palagi. Pintucks, patchwork, pleats, and playful tailored ribbons show up across both menswear and womenswear, creating a perfect balance of structure and softness.

Traditional techniques, like those used in Barong, are reimagined with modern touches and fresh color palettes, reflecting Romero’s unique approach to blending heritage with contemporary flair.

Romero’s latest collection expands the limits of timeless design, honoring both stability and transformation

Since her debut collection Palad (“Palm”) at graduation, Romero has consistently drawn inspiration from her own journey.

Over the years, her collections have been love letters to growth, resilience, and change. Each piece is not only a part of her identity but also a space for her clients to tell their own stories, making her designs both meaningful and relevant across generations.
