Rustan Marketing Corporation has introduced the Lacoste Original Eau de Parfum, marking the first collaboration between Lacoste and the global fragrance company Interparfums. The new scent aims to celebrate the brand’s iconic elements while introducing a modern twist to its fragrance lineup.
The release coincides with the 40th anniversary of the original Lacoste fragrance from 1984. Master Perfumers Anne Flipo and Tanguy Guesnet designed this new version to combine tradition with contemporary appeal, resulting in a woody ambery fougère scent.
Flipo described the fragrance as a representation of movement and sophistication, integrating citrus and spice notes such as Bergamot, Cardamom, and Pink Peppercorn. The heart of the fragrance includes Clary Sage and Lavender, while the base features Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Amber, and Patchouli, emphasizing its masculine character.
French actor Pierre Niney has been chosen as the face of the new fragrance, reflecting the brand’s blend of modernity and tradition. Niney expressed his long-standing connection to Lacoste, noting its significance in his personal and professional life.
To celebrate the launch, Rustan Marketing hosted an event that showcased the fragrance’s modern essence. Notable attendees included executives from Lacoste and Interparfums, along with celebrities such as actors Khalil Ramos and Brent Manalo and model LA Aguinaldo. The event featured a “fragrance discovery” experience, allowing guests to engage with the new scent, as well as interactive games and gourmet offerings.
Lacoste Original Eau de Parfum invites wearers to experience the brand’s legacy of sophistication and innovation through its latest fragrance offering.
