GAC Motor Philippines is celebrating a significant sales milestone for its GS3 Emzoom subcompact crossover. The brand has sold over 1,500 Emzoom units in the country by the eve of its anniversary launch on June 30, 2023.

To mark this achievement, GAC Motor organized a special social drive event for Emzoom owners from different dealerships across Luzon. Nearly a hundred Emzoom vehicles set off from various assembly points, including locations in Alabang, Lipa, Kawit, Bacoor, Santa Rosa, Manila Bay, New Manila, Congressional Avenue, Fairview, Pasig, Marilao, Pampanga, and Tarlac, and converged at Petron Station KM23 along the NLEX-northbound. From there, the convoy proceeded to Fabrika Villas in Guagua, Pampanga, where a luncheon featuring a program and games awaited the participants.

“To have a big group of Emzoom owners coming together to show their support and enthusiasm for their cars is a spectacle that never ceases to amaze our team at GAC MOTOR Philippines,” said Franz Decloedt, Brand Head of GAC MOTOR Philippines, Astara Philippines. “Hand in hand with all Filipinos, we will forge on to bring transformative mobility options to every corner of the country. Here’s to the next thousands more GAC Motor cars conquering Philippine roads.”

Several participants shared their positive experiences about the gathering and their own GS3 Emzoom vehicles. “It all happened so fast, we just saw it at the mall, and immediately fell in love with it. And then in two weeks’ time, our family got our hands on our own car. Now, I am a proud and happy Emzoom owner,” said Kristian Lugtu, an Emzoom owner.

The EMZOOM is a price-competitive subcompact crossover powered by a 1.5 TGDI engine, complemented with a 7-speed wet dual clutch transmission (7WDCT), producing 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque.

Aiming for 35 locations in total by the end of 2024, GAC MOTOR has also recently conducted successive openings of new dealerships throughout strategic sites in the Philippines, including San Fernando, Pampanga; Iloilo City; Sumulong Highway in Cainta, Rizal; General Santos City; and Marilao, Bulacan. More establishments are set to open this year in Santa Rosa, Fairview, Bacolod, Kawit, Congressional Avenue, Mindanao Avenue, and Valenzuela City.
