MG wows MIAS 2024 crowd; launches IM LS7 crossover EV

MG Philippines made a remarkable impact at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) with their impressive lineup of vehicles, including four groundbreaking electric offerings. The highlight of their showcase was the ZS EV, an electric version of the popular MG ZS compact crossover SUV, featuring a powerful electric motor and a 51kWh battery providing a range of approximately 320 kilometers. Another standout was the MG4 EV XPOWER, a sporty all-wheel-drive electric hatchback with a 330kW motor and a 64kWh battery. MG also introduced the MG Cyberster, their first-ever all-electric roadster, featuring a 77kWh battery, AWD Dual Motor, and a stunning convertible body design.

MG’s commitment to electric mobility extended to the MIFA 9, a large electric minivan offering luxurious seating for up to seven passengers. In addition to their EV lineup, MG showcased other innovative models, including the MG3 compact city hatchback and the MG ONE compact crossover SUV built on the SIGMA architecture platform.

For fans of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, MG presented the MG7 sports sedan and the RX9 SUV, both equipped with powerful engines and advanced features. The G50 MPV, MG5 sedan, and MG ZS were also part of the lineup.

In addition, MG Philippines also unveiled the IM LS7 electric crossover SUV, which offers luxurious electric mobility with a powerful 425kW electric motor, a range of up to 530km on a full charge, and a 0-100 kph acceleration time of 4.5 seconds.

The LS7 also features advanced technology, including an adjustable 42-inch triple screen, Zero Gravity Seats with massage and ventilation functions, and a 24-speaker sound system. The LS7 boasts a spacious and stylish design, with a Starfall front windshield and automatic power frameless doors. It prioritizes safety with a submarine-grade steel structure, high torsional stiffness, and seven airbags. The car’s Evolvable Intelligent Driving Assistance System enhances the driving experience with advanced cameras, radars, and AI-powered features. The LS7 sets a new benchmark in the segment and represents MG’s commitment to intelligent electrification. Pre-orders for the LS7 are already available, and it will be released in the Philippine market later this year.
