The Manila International Auto Show 2024 (MIAS) has returned, bigger and bolder than ever.
On its final day, the premier automotive event in the Philippines continues to showcase the best of the automotive industry and its future, taking the industry to new heights.
In a first for MIAS, the event served as home to two different locations: the World Trade Center Metro Manila and SMX Convention Center Manila.
This year’s theme, “Bridging the Future”, perfectly captured the essence of the event as a platform to showcase the future developments and innovations of the automotive industry – aimed to present these advancements to the present-day audience, creating excitement and anticipation at the same time.
The event’s opening last April 4 was graced by distinguished guests, including Augustus “Joe” V. Ferreria, president of the Automobile Association of the Philippines, and Edgardo Rubiano, first gentleman of Pasay City and president of Expedia Management Inc., who both delivered their welcome messages. Other notable attendees included Usec Frisco San Juan of MMDA, ASEC Kristine Joy Diaz-Teston from the Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs, and Assistant Secretary Road Transport and Infrastructure ASEC James Melad representing Secretary Jaime Bautista.
Marking the culmination of MIAS 2024 is a packed schedule of activities and events that are still sure to entertain visitors – from the latest car reveals and truck displays to Russ Swift’s Stunt Show, to the Die-Cast Car Collection and the Petron Custom and Classic Car Competition.
