The Lotus Eletre R has been launched in the Philippines by the Autohub Group during the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS). The electric hyper-SUV with racing heritage is the pinnacle of Lotus’ innovation, performance, and luxury. It seamlessly integrates the brand’s iconic design language with cutting-edge aerodynamic performance. The Eletre’s launch was attended by Willy Tee Ten, President of the Autohub Group; Owee Cruz, Autohub Group VP for PR, Marketing, and Fleet; Jeff Lizardo, General Manager of Lotus Cars Manila; and Katya Zavialova, Head of Southeast Asia Pacific for Group Lotus.
Tee Ten expressed his excitement about the launch, stating, “This is a significant moment for the partnership between Autohub Group and Lotus. I am thrilled to introduce the Eletre, a forward-thinking electric vehicle, during such a pivotal time in the local EV landscape. The 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit showcased the tremendous potential of electric vehicles, and I am proud that Autohub and Lotus were part of this event.”
The Lotus Eletre R is the world’s fastest dual-motor pure electric SUV, with a 0-100 km/h (0-62mph) acceleration time of under three seconds. It also features rapid charging capabilities, with a 10-80% charge taking only 20 minutes, and up to 120 km (74 miles) of range added in just five minutes.\
The Eletre R is also equipped with a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including an innovative deployable LIDAR system. This system provides 360-degree surround vision and can detect objects up to 250 meters away, making it ideal for autonomous driving. Additionally, it is also future-proofed for Level 4 autonomous driving capability.
The event featured presentations highlighting the Lotus brand identity from both local and international perspectives, and the innovative features of the Eletre model were explored in detail. Attendees were also invited to see the Eletre up close and try out the charging station.
For a limited time, the Lotus Eletre is available at a special introductory price of Php 9,999,000, with the suggested retail price set at Php 10,499,000.
