Interactive health, beauty,and wellness expo sets standard for community engagement

Watsons, the leading health, wellness, and beauty store, stood out with its first and biggest health and wellness expo in the country – the Watsons Health and Wellness Expo 2024, which took place at SM Megamall Megatrade Halls 1 to 3 from Feb. 1 to 4.

The expo showcased a wide range of health and beauty products available at Watsons in an engaging way. With more than 52 brand booths full of interactive activities, the expo allowed visitors to explore different products and learn from experts in the field.

In line with Watsons’ dedication to community wellbeing, the expo served as a starting point for people beginning their health journey.

Jared De Guzman, Watsons Philippines Customer Director, emphasized the brand’s commitment, stating, “Through the Health and Wellness Expo, Watsons is reiterating its commitment to uplifting the health and wellness of the community.”

“We are expecting at least 8,000 guests to visit the booths during the expo’s entire run. We are making all the brands participating accessible to a lot of people. And once we get that ‘magic 8k,’ I think that’s the sign that our patrons really this to happen again the succeeding years,” De Guzman added.

Based on the brand’s core values of “Look Good, Do Good, and Feel Great,” the event included free health consultations, informative talks, raffle draws, wellness sessions, and pharmacy services under “Click & Collect Express.”

The expo attracted Watsons Club members and walk-in guests, offering a chance to win prizes worth up to Php 1 million, enjoy discounts of up to 70 percent on health and wellness products, and free health consultations.

Celebrities such as Anne Curtis, Jessy Mendiola, Kristine Hermosa, Kim Atienza, Francine Diaz, Gabby Concepcion, and other brand ambassadors attended the event to share their health and wellness journeys.

Throughout the four-day event, health experts from top brands and medical associations discussed various health topics. Participants also enjoyed physical activities and brand talks featuring well-known names like Jo Villablanca, coaches Roco and Martin, Pinoy Fitness, Rope Flow PH, Wandergym, WeKenRun, PhilTRA, Spartan Ravens, and Jump Manila.

The event aimed to position Watsons as the go-to health destination, offering a comprehensive range of pharmacy products and services all under one roof.
