Cebu Pacific will launch direct flights between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City in April, making it the first airline to connect Central Visayas to Vietnam.
The low-cost carrier will operate the route three times a week, starting April 7, with flights every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
“Vietnam is becoming more popular among Filipino travelers, and this new route makes it easier for those from Cebu to visit Ho Chi Minh City while also attracting more visitors to the Philippines,” Cebu Pacific president Xander Lao said.
To promote the new service, the airline is offering one-way base fares as low as P1 ($0.018) from Feb. 20 to 24, excluding fees and surcharges. The promo applies to travel from April 7 to July 31.
Passengers can book using Travel Funds or other payment options, including credit and debit cards or e-wallets, Cebu Pacific said.
Cebu Pacific operates flights to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
