Disney Cruise Line has announced a range of new experiences for its upcoming ship, the Disney Adventure, including several firsts for the fleet, as it prepares for its maiden voyage from Singapore on Dec. 15, 2025.
Among the highlights are the debut of Marvel Style Studio, a superhero-inspired salon, and the first-ever appearance of Duffy and Friends on a Disney cruise. Guests will also experience themed activities such as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and the Royal Society for Friendship and Tea.
New experiences at sea
The Disney Adventure will introduce Marvel Style Studio, a salon offering hair, makeup, and costume transformations inspired by Iron Man, Spider-Man, and other Marvel superheroes. The venue will also serve as an adults-only lounge with beverage tastings at select times.
For younger passengers, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will provide royal makeovers, offering Disney princess and knight costumes, hairstyling, and accessories. The boutique will include a private photo experience for families to capture special moments.
The Royal Society for Friendship and Tea will invite children aged 3 to 12 to an afternoon tea party with Disney princesses, featuring storytelling, music, and interactive activities. Participants will take home keepsakes from the event.
Duffy and Friends make their cruise debut
For the first time on a Disney cruise, Duffy and Friends will be featured onboard with character meet-and-greets, a dedicated retail shop, and an interactive scavenger hunt. A new stage show, “Duffy and The Friend Ship,” will take place at the Disney Imagination Garden, following Duffy and his friends on an ocean adventure guided by the seagull Tippy Blue.
In the Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest, guests can purchase a guidebook and search for hidden items around the ship. Completing the quest will earn them a commemorative gift.
Pirate-themed adventure show
Another new addition is “Captain Jack Sparrow & The Siren Queen,” an action-packed show at the Disney Imagination Garden’s open-air stage. Guests will be encouraged to dress as pirates and join Jack Sparrow and his crew in a battle against a giant squid while searching for treasure.
Disney Cruise Line has opened bookings for sailings from April to September 2026. The Disney Adventure, the company’s first ship to homeport in Asia, will primarily offer three- and four-night voyages.
