The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said that the rehabilitation of EDSA will continue , following the order of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to expedite the repair of the highway to make it safer for motorists, commuters, and pedestrians.
Here is the new schedule of repair works on EDSA:
- 10:00pm to 4:00am (Monday to Friday) – Asphalt Overlaying
- 10:00pm to 4:00am (Friday to Monday) – Asphalt Overlaying and Concrete Reblocking
Here are the parts of EDSA (intermittent road sections) that will be repaired from January 6, 2026 to January 11, 2026.
ASPLAHT OVERLAY:
NORTHBOUND
January 6 – 11, 2026: Magallanes hanggang Ayala Underpass (from 2nd lane to 5th lane, including application of 2nd layer asphalt)
ROTOMILLING WORKS:
SOUTHBOUND
January 6, 2026: Scout Mariano hanggang Aurora Boulevard (2nd lane to 4th lane)
January 8-10, 2026: Vanguard Academy hanggang Kalayaan Flyover (2nd lane to 4th lane)
NORTHBOUND
January 7, 2026: Aurora Boulevard to Apelo Cruz (3rd lane to 5th lane)
CONCERTE REBLOCKING WORKS:
NORTHBOUND
January 9 – 12, 2026: Roxas Boulevard hanggang Taft Avenue (3rd lane)
“All motorists are advised to use alternative routes. The agency will also provide an updated schedule of repair works every week,” DPWH said.
