ICYMI, realme has released the realme 12 Pro Plus 5G and realme 12 Plus 5G early March, the brand’s followup to the successful realme 11 series. And in case you missed it, then you’re missing a lot when you’ve only monitored recent launches of a few other brands.
The two realme phones are practically twins, with a just few telltale distiguishing features, but we have the realme 12 Plus 5G on hand, and, we must say, it’s quite a handful.
The realme 12 Plus 5G sports the premium look and feel of the previous series gems — leather-backed for the luxury feel, the stylish zipper-like line from bottom to top where it helped to highlight the circle of four cameras, and we’re off always pretending to walk the runway.
The AMOLED panel is capable of achieving a 120Hz refresh rate, the bezels pretty narrow, too, and a 6.67-inch touchscreen display that is flat but we’re quite familiar with and offers 2400×1080 pixels (FHD+) resolution. For camera treat, you have a 50-megapixel primary camera; an 8-megapixel camera, a 2-megapixel camera plus a single front camera for selfies at a 16-megapixel sensor.
The realme 12 Plus 5G runs the realme 5.0 based on Android 14 and with 128GB, 256GB of inbuilt storage, powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery that supports 67W Turbo Charge fast charging.
All these goodies are housed in the realme 12 Plus 5G that measures 162.95 x 75.45 x 7.87mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 190.00 grams.
Connectivity options on the Realme 12 Plus 5G include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, plus in-display fingerprint sensor.
