The brand’s tagline, “From Tambay to Riches,” encapsulates its core mission: to encourage individuals to dream big and pursue success, regardless of their past.

Through the Tambay series, Pio has spotlighted the success stories of resellers like Francis Nuñez, who credits the caps for helping him escape financial struggles. “I used to pawn my ATM card. Now, I earn from selling Tambay caps, and I even have a mini-shop today,” Nuñez shared, underscoring the brand’s power to transform lives.

“I want to elevate the status of tambays,” Pio said, referencing the term for individuals often viewed as idle and unproductive. “People used to see tambays as good-for-nothing bums. Now, they recognize their value.” This shift in perception is a testament to how Tambay has become more than just a fashion statement—it’s a movement redefining self-worth.

With support from his wife, Aira, Pio has turned Tambay into a thriving business that uplifts communities. The caps are sold online and have reached international markets, including Singapore, South Korea, the Middle East, Italy, and the US.

For Pio, the designs are just one aspect of the brand’s success. “What really attracts buyers is the advocacy behind our story and the success of our resellers,” he explained.

His achievements in entertainment, particularly in hip-hop and acting, have also helped elevate the Tambay brand. “Building my name in the industry helped. You have to help yourself before expecting others to help you,” Pio reflected.
