Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach brandished several looks during the 2024 Paris Fashion Week, catching the eye of multiple fans as she showcased her inner fashion icon. Yet one of her outfits managed to stand out recently for its innovative design.
In one of her looks during the Yohji Yamamoto fashion show, Pia wore a retroreflective ensemble of a trench coat and a mini tube dress designed by Filipino designer Mark Bumgarner. While it had a simple dark gray color by itself, flashes from cameras revealed it to have a glowing fabric.
Along with the outfit, Pia wore a pair of black sunglasses and a pair of metallic heels with her hair pulled back to give off a clean look.
Bumgarner also posted the look on his Instagram account, noting how dazzling the beauty queen looked in her photos and that it was one of his favorite looks on Pia.
“Continue illuminating the world, the universe rather, with your message of positivity, kindness, and love. You are truly an inspiration to us all,” his post’s caption read.
Pia had been sporting several show-stopping looks since her arrival at the Paris Fashion Week, wearing several pieces from luxurious brands such as Dior, MÔNOT, Givenchy, Off-White, Victoria Tomas, and many others.
The beauty queen had been sharing her time during the week-long event, expressing her awe at the craftsmanship of the talented designers. As Pia had donned the iridescent outfit during Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto’s collection preview, the fashionista posted some looks from the runway that caught her eye.
“Seeing myself in these @yohjiyamamotoofficial runway looks,” she said in the caption.
Prior to her appearance at the Paris Fashion Week, she also attended the Milan Fashion Week.
The Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2024 began on Feb. 26 and is slated to end on March 5.
