Ford Philippines has officially made the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 a permanent member in its vehicle lineup. Initially launched in limited quantities of just 300 units at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last October, the Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 quickly became one of Ford’s best-selling vehicles, attracting enthusiasts to dealerships and test drive events.
Powered by a 3.0L V6 Twin-Turbo EcoBoost engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the Ranger Raptor delivers an impressive 397PS and 583Nm of torque, providing phenomenal performance both on and off-road. The class-exclusive electronically-controlled active exhaust system allows for customizable engine sounds, ranging from mild to wild.
Engineered by Ford Performance, the Raptor features an advanced suspension system with FOX 2.5-inch Live Valve internal bypass shock absorbers, enabling it to tackle rugged terrains effortlessly. The innovative MyMode “R” button allows drivers to personalize various settings, including steering feel, suspension stiffness, and exhaust tone, enhancing the driving experience.
This model also introduces an advanced permanent four-wheel drive system with an electronically controlled on-demand two-speed transfer case, complemented by front and rear locking differentials—essential features for serious off-roaders. With up to seven selectable drive modes, including the high-speed ‘Baja’ mode, drivers can easily adapt to different terrains.
