Alike hosts Women’s Month event

Alike, a company dedicated to showcasing the finest gems in art, fashion, F&B and hospitality, held a pocket event in celebration of Women’s Month dubbed “The Future is Female” #alikeWomen last March 26 at Meats & Deli Cafe at The Grove by Rockwell in Pasig City. 

The event offered a platform for women to connect, learn from each other, and enjoy a delicious meal.

The afternoon began with a cake decorating workshop led by The Sugar Garden, a dessert brand known for their signature flower designs. Spearheaded by couple Tommy Tomelden and Louis Tuason, showcasing their skills both in designing and hosting a fun gathering, participants enjoyed and were enthusiastic to unleash their creativity.

Alike, as shared by CEO Chari Trinidad-Mendoza, aims to live up to its mission to inspire more people to dream and do. And in celebration of Women’s Month, invited successful women entrepreneurs to share their journeys and insights.

Findersedge, by the visionary CEO Kd Ang, shared her story on creating the app. The fashion app aimed to make the lives of consumers convenient by providing a curated choice of clothing and other items in a Pinterest-inspired interface.

Mitzie Gil, CEO of Queen of Hearts Sleepwear Collection, carving her own path in the retail industry and pageantry, has also shared valuable advice and firsthand experiences on her entrepreneurial journey.

Chef & CEO Alyana Asistio of Meats & Deli Cafe, treated everyone to a delicious meal. The spread reflected Chef Asistio’s passion for food and showcased her culinary expertise, featuring a variety of savory dishes and delightful pastries. It served as a perfect culmination to an afternoon filled with inspiration, connection, and the simple joy of savoring good food.

The Alike Women’s Month event transcended a mere gathering for cake and conversation. It served as a celebration of women empowerment, a spirit of entrepreneurship, and a space for connection and growth. 

The event was co-presented by Findersedge, in partnership with Meats & Deli Cafe and The Sugar Garden. It was also sponsored by Queen of Hearts Sleepwear Collection. Their contributions played a vital role in making this inspiring afternoon a reality.
