ONE Championship continues to roll out events with the previously recorded ONE: A NEW BREED II, which airs next Friday (September 11).
Coming off a highly successful ONE: A NEW BREED on August 28, The Home Of Martial Arts hopes to continue its momentum with the second installment of the “NEW BREED” series bannered by some of the most exciting ONE Super Series matches.
Pongsiri PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym returns to action in the main event as he battles Sean “Clubber” Clancy in what is expected to be an action-packed bantamweight Muay Thai clash.
Pongsiri hopes that moving down to his more natural weight class will work wonders for him, especially since he dealt with bigger and lankier opponents in the past, including Sorgraw Petchyindee Academy – who he lost to via split decision at ONE: NO SURRENDER II last month.
But it won’t be easy against Clancy, who is a WBC Super Lightweight World Champion and was named the WBC Muay Thai Fighter Of The Year in 2019.
The pair look to position themselves in a stacked division currently ruled by ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and recently crowned tournament winner Rodlek PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym.
Aside from the pair of bantamweights in the main event, the card will feature other elite strikers such as second-ranked flyweight “The Kicking Machine” Superlek Kiatmoo9 and opponent Fahdi “The Gladiator” Khaled.
Teenage sensation Supergirl Jaroonsak Muaythai will also make her promotional debut in The Home Of Martial Arts when she takes on Argentinian Muay Thai Champion Milagros Lopez.
