Philippine baseball team training camps announced

The Philippine Amateur Baseball Association is pleased to confirm that the training camps for the Men’s and Women’s National Teams will be held on Oct. 13 and 14, from 7 a.m. to 12 noon at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium in Manila.

Next year will be one of the busiest years ever for Philippine Baseball, highlighted by the launch of the Women’s National Team program and the return of Baseball to the South East Asian Games, which the Philippines is hosting from Nov. 30 to Dec. 10.

Players aged 18 and above are required to bring photocopies of their birth certificate and passport, as well as two 2x2 ID photos when they arrive at the venue to register.

Training camp for the Men’s Team will be held on Oct. 13, while the first-ever Women’s camp happens on Oct. 14.

While selections will focus on identifying players ready to make an impact on the international stage, the PABA will also be on the lookout for the stars of tomorrow.
