MILO Rivera and Inigo Anton shared the spotlight in the fifth leg of the Race Motorsports’ Phoenix National Slalom Series recently at Robinsons Novaliches.
Rivera of Tough Gear Racing snatched the overall best time of the day at 50.86, while grabbing the Production Wheel top clocking.
Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Team Big Chill followed at 51.12, while Estefano Rivera, Milo’s younger brother, placed third with a 52 flat.
The 12-year-old Anton, who is from Mark Young Cars, ranked fourth with 52.22, while his father Carlos Anton rounded out the Top 5 with 52.96.
The younger Anton also clinched the Front Wheel and Novice best time in the slalom event presented by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil.
It is also backed by major sponsors Federal Tyres and Outlast Battery, Robinsons Novaliches and Robinsons Malls, and supported by Starbright Body Kits, Auto Transporter, medical team Aeromed, media partners Stoplight TV, C! The event was participated in by Team Big Chill, Tough Gear Racing Team, AUTOFASTION Racing Team, JAF Racing Team, Kajega Racing Team and Mark Young cars.
The sixth leg will be held on July 9 at Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, with the seventh leg slated on Aug. 13 at Robinsons Antipolo.
