A courtesy call was also made by PVF Secretary General Gerard Cantada, Managing Director Dr. Otie Camangian, and PVF Director for Basilan Dr. Arnel Hajan to Governor Jim Hataman Salliman.
“The PVF would like to thank the officials of the province of Basilan and the city of Isabela for their generosity and thoughtfulness. Our expectations were more than met — that Basilan is a safe haven with numerous pristine beaches, beautiful landmarks, friendly and lovely people,” said PVF president Edgardo ‘Tito Boy’ Cantada.
“The participants have left for home nurturing an experience they would not easily forget. The majority of the teams, if not all, came from public schools. There are no entry fees providing equal opportunities,” he added.
