After more than a year on the sidelines, ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao is motivated for his return to the ONE Championship Circle.

Nong-O takes on the ever-exciting Rodlek PK.Saenchai Muaythaigym in the co-main event of ONE: COLLISION COURSE this Friday, December 18, live from the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Meeting Rodlek for the first time in his career, the legendary Nong-O is certainly excited to test himself against someone new.

“I am excited to see new faces. It is different from the past where I have seen the same opponents and got familiar with their styles. I want to fight with a new fighter who has a new style,” Nong-O told ONEFC.com.

“I will improve myself by fighting with new opponents. I can learn new techniques from them to develop my own style.”

The Evolve MMA star expects non-stop action from the get-go given Rodlek’s aggressive nature and go-for-broke style. However, facing aggressive opponents is nothing new to Nong-O.

“I have experienced this aggressive style for so long. Powerful kicks and punches. I already prepared for this,” Nong-O said.

“Rodlek’s style is an aggressive style. I am not afraid of that. Instead, I love it because he will be stepping forward to get kicked by me. I will use my tactics to defeat him.”

At the end of the day, Nong-O promises an intense, competitive match between two men who are more than willing to let go of their artillery inside the Circle.

“In this fight, I think both of us can strike each other heavily with our powerful weapons. So, the climax will be about who can utilize their experience better to get the advantage — the one who is better at it will be the winner,” Nong-O said.

Watch ONE: COLLISION COURSE on One Sports or One Sports+ at 8:30 p.m. Philippine Standard Time (PHT) or on the ONE Super App.

Also, TV5 will air the event on a next-day delay at 11 p.m. PHT on Saturday, December 19.
