ONE Championship continued to spread happiness over the holidays when they visited the Smokey Mountain right before Christmas.
ONE gave out brand new clothes to the beneficiaries of Young Focus, a local non-government organization (NGO) that focuses on the at-risk youth of Smokey Mountain.
For years, Smokey Mountain was a large landfill in Tondo, Manila before it eventually closed in the late 1990s. It was then turned into public housing for the less fortunate.
Young Focus has been one of the NGOs working in the area, improve the lives of the youth in the area through education.It is just one of the many projects that ONE and Global Citizen have been involved in since teaming up in January of 2018.
Just last November, the pair partnered with Gawad Kalinga in the Philippines as they visited the community in Barangka Drive in Mandaluyong with ONE heroes Danny "The King" Kingad and Lito "Thunder Kid" Adiwang,
