Skate Pilipinas has launched the Skate Clinic Series to promote safety, foster a healthy skating community, and empower the younger generation to embrace sportsmanship and athleticism.

The inaugural event occurred at Vitas Skatepark in Tondo, Manila recently, marking the beginning of a nationwide initiative spanning Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The Skate Pilipinas Skate Clinic Series provides educational talks and hands-on training sessions to skaters of all levels. The series prioritizes safety measures, fosters skill development, and cultivates a supportive community, all aimed at fostering an inclusive and inviting environment for skateboarders throughout the Philippines.

Carl Sambrano, president of Skate Pilipinas, expressed his enthusiasm for the series, stating, “Our goal is to break barriers and stereotypes in sports. Through our skate clinic programs, we empower young athletes to pursue their passion while fostering a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect within the skating community.”

“The Skate Pilipinas Skate Clinic Series is not just about skating; it’s about creating opportunities and promoting positive values among youth. We believe sportsmanship, inclusivity, and gender equality are essential to building a stronger and more vibrant community,” Aniceto Facundo II, vice president of Skate Pilipinas, added.

The next Skate Clinic was held on Saturday in Iligan City, continuing the organization’s mission to provide accessible and enriching experiences for skaters nationwide. Skate Pilipinas also gives away skateboards at the end of each clinic to support aspiring athletes and encourage continued sports participation.

March is dedicated to celebrating women in sports, with Skate Pilipinas incorporating inclusivity and gender equality initiatives throughout the month. The organization remains committed to creating a diverse and supportive environment where everyone can thrive and succeed.

The Tingog Partylist, Bagong Pilipinas Movement, the Philippine Olympic Committee, and others fully support this initiative.
