Kean Baclaan unloaded 21 points for the defending champion San Sebastian Staglets in their 83-70 beating of First City Providential College of Bulacan, 83-70, in the junior division of the ongoing 24th Fr. Rafael Are contributed 15 points for the Staglets as they picked up their first triumph in four matches in this cagefest supported by Cocolife.

This allowed the Staglets to bounce back from their loss to the University of Perpetual Help Junior Altas, who posted an 84-82 triumph over them.

ABOUT US

Manila Standard

Manila Standard website (manilastandard.net), launched in August 2002, extends the newspaper’s reach beyond its traditional readers and makes its brand of Philippine news and opinion available to a much wider and geographically diverse readership here and overseas.

Digital Edition

In tone and content, the online edition mirrors the editorial thrust of the newspaper. While hewing to the traditional precepts of fairness and objectivity, MS believes the news of the day need not be staid, overly long or dry. Stories are succinct, readable and written in a lively style that has become a hallmark of the newspaper.
