Team Ignite got stunned by a strong start and took their first-ever setback in the National G League tournament on Wednesday, absorbing an 87-127 beating from the Erie Bayhawks.

The Bayhawks, led by Naji Marshall, needed big spurts in the first period to overcome Ignite at the AdventHealth Arena in Orlando, Florida.

With Jalen Green held to just 13 points, the Bayhawks went on to post their fourth win in five games.

Filipino Kai Sotto has flown back to the United States in order to enter the Disney World bubble in Orlando, Florida and rejoin Ignite as soon as possible.

The Delaware Blue Coats are now in the solo lead following their 133-111 stopping of the Iowa Wolves.

Their fifth straight win puts the Blue Coats ahead of Ignite, who hold a 4-1 slate with the Bayhawks, the Austin Spurs and the Oklahoma City Blue.

Jonathan Kuminga shot 21 points and added a career-best 10 boards for Ignite.

The count was tied at 6-all when the Bayhawks broke free behind a driving layup from Jalen Adams.

This touched off a 7-0 run which put the Bayhawks on top, 13-6, with 7:27 remaining.

After Kuminga drove in and stopped the rally, the Bayhawks took off once again.

This time, Justin Wright-Foreman and Marshall towed the Bayhawks to a 9-0 blast to move away, 22-8, in the remaining 5:29.
