TNT wants to bring Hollis-Jefferson back in PBA PH Cup

Bringing back Rondae Hollis-Jefferson in the coming 49th Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup is in the works.

Team manager Jojo Lastimosa said this as after the TNT Tropang Giga took the Governors’ Cup crown with a decisive 95-85 win in Game 6 last Friday at the Araneta Coliseum.

Lastimosa said Hollis-Jefferson’s great performance during the last conference convinced the team that they should have him in the roster again.

“With his performance, we are thinking of bringing him back,” said Lastimosa.

In Game 6 of the Governors’ Cup finals, Hollis-Jefferson had a great all-around showing for the Tropang Giga,  with 31 points, 16 rebounds, eight assists, and two steals for a decisive 95-85 win.

Hollis-Jefferson will be coming back once he confirms that he won’t be suiting up for any NBA team.

“Right now, I’m in the air of appreciating the people that are in front of me. If the NBA calls me, my agent calls me and says hey the NBA wants to give you another chance, I’m ready. I’m just gonna continue and enjoy the people around me,” said  Hollis-Jefferson.

Hollis-Jefferson played for the Portland Trailblazers back in 2021.
