Luminox, known for its military-grade watches, celebrated its 35th anniversary with the launch of the Heritage Collection at their pop-up store in Rockwell Power Plant Mall, Makati. The Pop-up Store, which will run until Sunday (June 23, 2024) offers a chance to see the new collection and enjoy special promotions.

The Luminox pop-up store at Rockwell Power Plant Mall provided a unique opportunity for watch fans and loyal customers to explore the Heritage Collection.

Visitors discovered the latest timepieces and enjoyed premium items with their purchase. The pop-up store was the perfect destination to immerse in the Luminox legacy and find a timepiece that embodied the brand’s dedication to quality and performance.

For 35 years, Luminox has been a trusted name in watchmaking, known for producing timepieces that endure the toughest conditions.

The Heritage Collection paid tribute to this legacy, highlighting the brand’s longstanding partnership with the Navy SEALs and showcasing watches inspired by the environments where these elite forces operate: SEA, LAND, and AIR.

SEA, AIR, and LAND

The Navy SEAL Original 3001 Heritage model revisited the original Navy SEAL watch with modern enhancements. Notable features included a red “30” on the bezel, symbolizing three decades since the launch of the original model, and an arrow-tipped second hand for better readability. This model embodied the brand’s relentless pursuit of high-performance, robust watches, perfect for operations at SEA.

Inspired by stealth fighter pilots, the F-117 Nighthawk™ x Skunk Works Heritage watch featured the Skunk Works® logo that glows in Super-LumiNova® at night. With a bi-directional bezel and dual-timezone function, it was perfect for both aviators and frequent travelers. This timepiece married the iconic design with Skunk Works® innovation, honoring the pilots who flew the stealth fighter jets, suited for missions in the AIR.

Designed for explorers, the RECON Point Man Heritage watch included a tachymeter, cardinal points on the bezel, and markers for kilometers and miles. It was an essential tool for those navigating diverse terrains, empowering explorers to lead with precision and confidence on LAND.

Blades and Bullets

Every second counts and to put this Luminox slogan into practice, guests were given one-on-one training with the founders of Blades & Bullets, a highly skilled group that offers training on personal protection, marksmanship skills, and even essential trauma care skills.

Guests learned proper shooting skills using MantisX, a data-driven gun training system using an Airsoft gun that gave live feedback on how to improve one’s aim and shooting. The Blades & Bullets team put various scenarios and taught easy-to-remember techniques that saw participants increase their aim and shooting skills marginally higher with consistent results.

Self-Defense Training with a Tactical Flashlight

Participants were trained with easy-to-recall self-defense techniques with the use of their hands, arms, and even a tactical flashlight. Blades & Bullets put the participants through several scenarios and were taught how to create a safe space in order to quickly and effectively deter further harm in order to create a space or escape to safety.
