SGA-St. Benilde and San Juan reasserted their dominance anew in the PSL President’s Cup by beating their respective rivals with ease even as Manila survived RCP Shawarma Shack in a humdinger of an encounter just recently at the Filoil-EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

With seven players scoring nine points or more, SGA-St. Benilde notched its third straight win, this after the Blazers added NKT Sniper to their growing list of victims, 107-77.

The Blazers shot an amazing 63% (45-of-71)  from the field as they ran roughshod over a Sniper team that remained winless in this tournament.

They scored 43 points in transition and their fast-paced game proved to be too much against the Sniper.

St. Benilde also hit 68 points from inside the shaded lane, 24 points more than their rivals, who simply couldn’t keep up with their run and gun style of play.

Leading the charge for the Blazers were Jhomel Ancheta and Gam Cometa, who both tallied 13 markers, followed by Mark Sangco and Angelo Vanguardia, each of them scoring 11 apiece.

Irele Galas contributed 10 while Paul Turco and Zenric Jarque had nine each for the Blazers, who improved their win-loss record to 5-2.

The loss was the 11th straight in as many games for NKT.

San Juan barely broke out a sweat in ripping CV Siniloan, 111-82.

The Kings displayed balanced production led by Nikko Panganiban, who had yet another solid, all-around game to tow his squad to its 10th win in 11 games.

CV Siniloan absorbed its 10th loss in 13 matches.

AC Soberano contributed 12 markers, all of them coming from beyond the arc, while Michael Calisaan, Mike Malonzo and John Martin Galinato each produced 10 apiece for the Kings, who outrebounded the Dragons, 59-39.

Manila outlasted RCP Shawarma Shack, 68-66.

Paolo Hernandez dishes off a nifty assist against the tight-guarding Marvin Lee of CV Siniloan. (PSL)
