The month of July proves to be the busiest so far this year for the multi-awarded Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training Center (BEST Center) as it fires off its pioneering clinics in basketball and volleyball in eight different venues across the country.
Founded by the late Olympian and national coach Nicanor Jorge, BEST Center will also hold clinics in four provinces– Pampanga, Davao City, Baguio, and Cagayan de Oro– in fulfilling its mission finding basketball hopefuls who could follow in the footsteps of its illustrious list of graduates. It includes Benjie Paras, Shaun and Dave Ildefonso, Chris Tiu, brothers Thirdy and Kiefer Ravena, Renz Subido, Jerry Codiñera, Jun Limpot, Rey Evangelista, Paolo Mendoza, Chris Tiu, Renzo Subido, Juan and Javi Gomez de Liaño, and many more.
The basketball clinics will start on July 17 at the Saint Gabriel International School in Pasig City followed by the classes set at the Malate Catholic School (July 18), Ateneo College Covered Courts (July 22), and the 3rd Fitness Lab in Quezon City (July 30). The cage clinics will last until August and early September.
Volleyball clinics will start at the Malate Catholic School on July 18 and at the Ateneo College Covered Courts on July 22.
