The former San Antonio Spurs psychologist has settled her lawsuit with ex-player Joshua Primo and the NBA team, the San Antonio Express-News reported Thursday.

Hillary Cauthen had accused Primo, 19, of exposing his genitals to her on multiple occasions during treatment sessions.

Primo was abruptly released by the Spurs in October, the team saying only that the move was in the “best interest” of the club and the 2021 first-round draft pick.

Cauthen went public with her allegations and sued the team in November, saying she had alerted the team to his actions months earlier.

Cauthen’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, said in a statement to the Express-News that “the parties have agreed to resolve this matter.”

The Spurs also released a statement, saying that since learning of the allegations, they “have taken, and are taking, measures to ensure that all parties involved are treated with dignity and respect.”

“We know we owe that to Dr. Cauthen, our players, our staff and our community.”

No further details of the settlement were immediately available, but the Spurs said they would “collaborate with Dr. Cauthen and other experts in an effort to review and improve our workplace processes and procedures.”

“This is a learning opportunity for us, and one that we are certain will make us better moving forward.”
