THE Rivera brothers once again savored a double victory as they topped the ninth leg of the 2016 PHOENIX National Slalom Series recently at Robinsons Antipolo.
The siblings and teammates from Tough Gear Racing ruled the competition with Milo Rivera clocking in 46.84, while his brother Estefano came in second with 46.92 seconds, followed by Dr. Peewee Mendiola of Team Big Chill at 48.24.
Meanwhile, Dion Ortiz of AF Racing Team bagged the Novice title with a time of 50.70, followed by Keith Cayanan with 50.98.
Ronz Yuzon of Cabanatuan Auto Club won the Front Wheel Best Time of the day with 48.68, followed by Richard Gallardo with 49.54 and Mike Simbulan with 51.88.
Winners of the eighth leg were awarded, while all class winners received four liters of Phoenix Accelerate fully synthetic motor oil and sports bottle.
The 2016 Phoenix National Slalom Series is powered by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate fully synthetic oil and co-sponsored Federal Tyres, Outlast Battery and Robinsons Antipolo.

The 10th leg for the year will be on Sept. 4 back at Robinsons Antipolo, while the second leg for the Phoenix Slalom Invitational will be on Aug. 21 at Robinsons Calasiao Pangasinan.
