Actor Lance Carr found himself in an unexpected situation during the Vivarkada fancon and grand concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Friday, Aug. 15, after discovering his phone had gone missing in the middle of the crowd.
Carr, who recently headlined Avenues of the Diamond, was being mobbed by fans with co-star Aubrey Caraan when he noticed his phone was gone.
His close friend Marco Gallo quickly came to his aid, offering a ₱20,000 reward for its safe return — a moment that was even caught on video by fans.
Gallo later posted clips on Instagram showing the packed audience swarming Carr.
One video drew attention to a woman seen beside the actor with her hand near his pocket, though Gallo clarified he was not pointing fingers, saying the footage only raised questions.
The post quickly spread online, with netizens trading theories in the comments while also warning against making hasty judgments. Some noted that Carr was not the only one who lost a phone that night.
