Summer shows heat up streaming queue

Fans of anime, K-pop, romance, and thrillers have plenty to stream this summer as Netflix rolls out a lineup designed to appeal to every fandom. From live-action adaptations to international hits, there’s no shortage of shows to binge at home.

The live-action One Piece: Into the Grand Line continues the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they navigate new territories like Loguetown and Drum Island. Iconic characters such as Tony Tony Chopper and Crocodile make their debut in the series, which is now streaming on Netflix.

K-pop fans can catch BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang, featuring the group’s first live performance from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, while the documentary BTS: The Return gives an inside look at preparations for the comeback. The live show premiered on March 21, with the documentary following on March 27.

For fans of crime drama, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man arrives this month, continuing the saga of Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and his gang. All six seasons of the original series are available for streaming in preparation for the feature film, which premiered on March 20.

Thriller enthusiasts can follow Nanno in Girl From Nowhere: The Reset, a rebooted series starring Thai actress Becky Armstrong as the enigmatic student who exposes injustices at school. The series is currently streaming.

Finally, Heartbreak High: Season 3 returns with the final term at Hartley High, featuring pranks, teenage drama, and the transition to adulthood. The new season premiered on March 25.
