Four local films are set to attend the 35th Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) and the 25th Asia TV Forum and Market (ATF) in Singapore.
According to the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the films to grace the event include ABS-CBN Studios’ “Hysteria,” Christian G. Gamboa’s “Remember,” Alaric Tay’s “Gloria,” and Keith Earl Rebaño’s “Blub Blub Blub.”
The pitching schedule for the films is as follows: “Hysteria” and “Remember” on Dec. 4 at 1:00 p.m. and 11:30 a.m., respectively, and “Gloria” and “Blub Blub Blub” on Dec. 5 at 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, additional events will take place, including talks such as “Coffee with Commissioners” featuring FDCP Chairman and CEO Jose Javier Reyes and “Southeast Asia: What’s In A Name?” with film critic and SGIFF programmer Richard Bolisay on Dec. 3. Another highlight is “Inside the Making of ‘Drug War: A Conspiracy of Silence’” on Dec. 5.
The SGIFF celebrates Asian cinema through screenings, workshops, industry discussions, and competitions. The ATF gathers media professionals to showcase their work and foster networking opportunities.
