Known as Kapuso OST Princess, Hannah Precillas is ready to take listeners on an emotional ride with the release of her EP under GMA Music.
Titled Hannah Precillas Sessions and was dropped on digital stores and streaming platforms on May 25, the “mini-album” was a product of the young singer’s dream to have a recording catalog she can call her own,
“It’s been my dream to have an album. Having an EP or a mini-album is closer to my dream of having a full-length record that I can share with my fans and listeners. I just feel so fortunate that GMA gave me this opportunity to express my creativity as a singer and a music artist,” Hannah told Manila Standard Entertainment in a virtual interview.
Her fans are in for a musical treat through four songs she performed live — “Munting Hiling,” which was composed by Vehnee Saturno and originally performed by Willie Revillame; Ella May Saison’s “Hiram na Sandali;” Carol Banawa’s “Awit Kay Inay;” and a new version of her recently launched single “Sabi Ko Na Nga Ba.”
Hannah admitted she had little time to work on the EP because of the restrictions brought about by the pandemic. But she’s still proud that the network’s music arm allowed her to get involved with the EP’s creative process.
“It may not be perfect but I want to make sure na ‘yung mga taong makikinig nito ay hindi madi-disappoint. Kasi from the audio recording to video shoot, lahat ay aking sariling sikap and diskarte because of the pandemic. But now, I am very happy and very excited for everyone to finally hear it and also I feel so grateful that I’ve done another milestone in my life,” she mused.
Furthermore, she wants to uplift others through her music, “Gusto kong maiparating sa listeners that no matter what kind of challenges or hardships we face in our lives, if you’re passionate enough to fulfill your dreams and this makes you truly happy, you can surely do something about it to make it happen.”
