Filipino girl group BINI is making waves in the international music scene, with their BINIverse EP landing a spot on Grammy’s New Music Friday list.
Released on Feb. 27, the six-track pop-R&B EP includes the squad’s latest singles—“Cherry on Top” and “Blink Twice.”
The Grammy’s official website featured the EP in its weekly New Music Friday roundup, placing them alongside established artists like Halsey and Lizzo.
Known as the “Nation’s Girl Group,” BINI is the only Filipino act to make it onto the list.
Formed under Star Magic of ABS-CBN, the eight-member group consists of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena.
They officially debuted in June 2021 with the single “Born to Win” and have since been active in the P-pop (Pinoy pop) scene.
