OPM singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo has signed with Mercury Records in the U.S., marking a significant milestone in his career. The 23-year-old artist announced this exciting development on social media, eager for the next chapter in his musical journey.

“It’s funny how quickly life can turn around. From being a normal kid in the Philippines writing songs in my tiny room after school, to now being signed by one of the biggest record labels in America,” said Zack.

Tabudlo, known for chart-topping singles like “Pano” and “Gusto” featuring Al James, joins an impressive roster of artists under Mercury Records US, including Post Malone, Zayn Malik, and Noah Kahan. In his announcement, he described the signing as a “surreal experience” and thanked his supporters for their continued encouragement.

“I’d like to truly thank Mercury US, UMG, my core team, my family, and above all, I want to thank all of you. Big things are coming up, and I can’t wait for you guys to hear what I’ve been working on,” he added.

Alongside the announcement, Zack teased the release of new music, marking his return after a six-month hiatus.

“It’s been half a year of no music… wait ’til you see tomorrow,” he hinted.

Tabudlo recently signed with Mercury Records after a successful 2024, during which he released several singles, including “Isa, Dalawa, Tatlo,” “Feel This Way,” “Papalayo,” and “Pulso.” His third studio album, 3rd Time’s A Charm, was released in November 2023, solidifying his presence in the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) scene. To celebrate the fourth anniversary of his debut album, Episode, a limited-edition vinyl reissue was launched in 2024.

Mercury Records, a part of Universal Music Group, has a rich history that dates back to 1945. The label has collaborated with a wide range of artists across various genres, including rock, R&B, jazz, and pop. With this new signing, Zack joins fellow Filipino artist Lyn Lapid at Mercury Records, placing him alongside some of the biggest names in music on a global platform.
