K-pop boy group GOT7 is reportedly preparing for a long-anticipated full-group comeback, according to a local Korean media outlet.
In an exclusive report by OSEN, the members of the group are reportedly in the recording stages of their new album, with a tentative release set for late January 2025.
“GOT7 is preparing for a full-group comeback once again with the discharge of members Jay B and Jinyoung from their military service,” the news report said.
While the specific comeback date is yet to be confirmed and finalized, K-pop idol and GOT7 member BamBam took to his X account and requoted a news article about the comeback.
“Really?” the singer-dancer wrote, with a surprised emoji.
The return will mark an exciting milestone for GOT7, especially following the recent military discharges of Jay B and Jinyoung, enabling the group to reunite as a whole.
Since their debut in 2014 under JYP Entertainment, GOT7 members Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Yugyeom, BamBam, and Youngjae have captured fans worldwide with hits like “Just Right,” “Hard Carry,” and “Lullaby.”
Despite parting ways with JYP Entertainment in 2021 to pursue individual careers under different agencies, the group emphasized their commitment to staying united, declaring, “The group will not disband.”
The upcoming release will be GOT7’s second comeback as an independent act, following their 2022 self-titled EP.
