Actress and singer Janella Salvador has surprised fans with the release of the music video for her latest single “Hey You,” which features her Darna co-star Jane De Leon.
In her Instagram post announcing its release, Salvador greeted fans as she shared a few snippets from the sapphic and heartwarming music video.
“Happy Pride, my dear vadengs! I hope you like my little gift,” said Salvador in her post’s caption.
The actress also spoke about the music video when she had its official launch during the “Love Laban 2 Everyone’ Pride PH Festival 2024 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle on June 22.
“Sayang ‘di natuloy yung kiss. Bigyan niyo muna kami ng GL (Girls’ Love),” she said, teasing the crowd.
“Napagod na kasi ako kakaantay kaya ako na lang gumawa ng paraan,” she added.
Salvador and De Leon unexpectedly stole the hearts of fans with their captivating chemistry during their time on the 2022 version of the superhero TV series, taking on the roles of the villainess Valentina and the titular hero, respectively. Since then, fans have been clamoring for a GL project starring the two.
