Korean singer 10cm treated his Filipino fans to a delightful surprise recently as he recently dropped a cover of OPM (Original Pilipino Music) song ”Raining in Manila” by Lola Amour.
In a video shared on his social media accounts, 10cm, whose real name is Kwon Jung-yeol, stayed true to the original’s melancholic charm while adding a touch of his signature acoustic charm.
The song’s original singer, Lola Amour, couldn’t help but express its gratitude towards Kwon for giving “Raining in Manila” a new rendition.
“Wow! Thanks for covering our song!!! [H]onored!l” it commented.
The clip was released ahead of his upcoming “Closer To You” Asia Tour stop in Manila happening at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on August 31.
