Kpop girl group aespa’s Giselle has posted her own version of the “Marikit Sa Dilim” TikTok dance trend.
In a video posted on the official TikTok account of aespa, Giselle is seen dancing to the hit song by Juan Caoile and Kyleswish featuring JAWZ while wearing a blue oversized jacket in front of a window.
As the song gained traction on social media, many celebrities have hopped on the “Marikit Sa Dilim” dance trend like Maris Racal, Sandara Park, Janella Salvador, Evan Tan, Alden Richards, and many others.
Apart from them, the trend has also reached Kpop idols, with members from boy bands like TXT’s Yeonjun, Enhypen’s Heesung, &TEAM’s Nicholas, and NCT’s Sion and Sakuya sharing videos of themselves dancing to the song.
“Marikit Sa Dilim” is a collaboration between hip-hop artists Juan Caoile and Kyleswish featuring rapper Dilim. The song serves as a mature version of the hip-hop duo’s 2020 track, “Marikit,” which also received viral success.
aespa is composed of Giselle, Karina, Winter, and Ningning. They are known for their hit singles “Black Mamba,” “Next Level,” and “Savage.” The girl group is also set to go on their second world tour “SYNK: Parallel Line,” which will begin on June 29 in Seoul, South Korea.
