The Japanese Embassy in the United States has confirmed that global pop sensation Taylor Swift will make it in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LVIII after concluding the Tokyo leg of her record-breaking ‘Eras Tour.’

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently speak now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the Embassy of Japan said in a statement posted to the social media platform X.

After taking a break for more than two months, Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ is set to continue its international leg on Feb. 7 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, where she will be performing until Feb. 10.

Because of this, fans and media outlets have been pondering Swift’s ability to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play in the Super Bowl, which will be on Feb 11 at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.

“We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red,” the Japanese Embassy said in their statement.

The singer-songwriter’s ‘Eras’ Tour’ is the highest-grossing tour of all time as it was the first tour to surpass a revenue of $1 billion, with many cities noting the economic impact of each show to its businesses and tourism.

Each show features songs from the 10 albums in her discography, along with opening acts from famous artists such as Paramore, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Adams, Phoebe Bridgers, and many others.

As of writing, Japan and Singapore are the only countries in Asia where Swift will be performing, which has led to the disappointment of many fans, including those in the Philippines, and has caused many to demand the addition of more tour dates.
