As previously announced, U2 will bring The Joshua Tree Tour to the Philippines for their first-ever Manila performance on  Dec. 11 at the Philippine Arena. Tickets for the concert, which promises to be a truly unforgettable experience for fans, will go on sale on Thursday, Sept. 5 (10:00 a.m.) at SM Tickets.com.

U2 to hold first Manila concert at Philippine Arena
Filipino fans of Irish rock superstars U2—composed of Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen Jr.—will finally be able to see the band perform live at the Philippine Arena on Dec. 11.

Unique to this tour, VIP Standing tickets closest to the stage start at just P5,250 (including applicable service fees). The floor section will give fans an opportunity to get up-close to the innovative staging—which features it’s very own Joshua tree—and the 200 x 45-foot cinematic video screen. As tickets to the VIP Standing section are limited, and to ensure fans have the best chance at access, VIP standing tickets will be capped at two tickets per person and will go on sale prior to the public sales on Wednesday, Sept. 4 (10:00 a.m.).

Fans registered from Aug. 27 to Sept. 2 at www.mmilive.com to receive more information on how to avail VIP tickets. Maximum of two standing tickets can be purchased when they become available on Wednesday on a first-come, first-served basis – prior to the general public on sale. All fans will still be able to purchase a maximum of 8 tickets when public sales begin on Thursday at www.smtickets.com.

An exclusive standing section called (RED) Zone is also located at the floor level. The (RED) Zone gives you access to an exclusive VIP area directly adjacent to the Stage with special amenities and dedicated staff all while raising money in support of (RED) and the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. Special features include VIP Entrance to the concert venue, souvenir collectors ticket, access to purchase pre-show refreshments and a rare opportunity to be selected for a pre-show backstage tour. Tickets for the (RED) Zone are limited to a maximum of four per person, and purchases may only be made available online via SMTICKETS.com. Sales start on Thursday, Set. 4 (10:00 a.m.).

All additional tickets for The Joshua Tree Tour at the Philippine Arena are seated. Prices for reserved seating sections starts at P8,499, with prices for the free seating sections at P2,499. There is an eight-ticket limit per person.
