Pioneer Adhesives, Inc. recently marked its diamond anniversary with an elegant celebration at the Solaire Resort & Casino with stars like Bayani Agbayani, jazz singer Judith Banal, OPM legend Basil Valdez and dance group El Gamma Penumbra entertaining the executives, guests and visitors.

Bayani, the host for the evening, was a perfect choice who featured the company’s history, milestones and diverse product range through video presentations and a special live appearance. He also performed his infamous song ‘Otso Otso’ along with selected employees which brought the house down.

Guests were also serenaded by award-winning balladeer, Basil Valdez, who rendered his famous songs “Ngayon at Kailanman”, “You” and “Ikaw”, which brought back memories of yesteryear.

Moving on to the present was an astounding shadow performance by El Gamma Penumbra, performing their rendition of a Pioneer Adhesives story and how the brand plays an important role in the lives of its users. The real celebration began when Judith Banal hit the stage with her Powerplay band who got everyone off their feet and onto the dance floor.

The grand ballroom was well decorated with employees, business partners and associates who donned their best suits and elegant gowns as they came together to rejoice six decades of “Samahang Matibay, Samahang Pioneer.”

Before entering the ballroom was a memorabilia showcase which reminded everyone of the humble beginnings of Pioneer Adhesives through nostalgic photos and displays of their early products.    It was an inspiring sight as they gathered together to honor their pioneering culture to what is known today as the top-of-mind brand for adhesives, sealants, and coatings.

Formerly Republic Chemical Industries, Inc., Pioneer Adhesives, Inc. was established in 1958, with just a small manual operating plant in Aurora Boulevard. Their most famous products include Pioneer Epoxies, Mighty Bond, and Pioneer Pro construction chemicals. The success of Pioneer Adhesives was the result of the company’s vision of dominating the local and international markets, merged with relentless hard work and perseverance. The new corporate name and logo were physically unveiled two days earlier on the actual 60th anniversary day of Pioneer Adhesives at their LMS manufacturing complex in Canlubang, Laguna.

These advocacies are spread across the country through community activities and campaigns. Pioneer Adhesives also takes pride in the green nature of its products as they are low in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and are manufactured in a facility that utilizes renewable energy, rainwater harvesting and other green efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.
