Sharing more blessings through ‘Grateful Tuesdays’

Blessings poured once more in the 7th and season-ender episode of Grateful Tuesdays when Ilocos Sur Mayor Chavit Singson appeared as a special guest last Tuesday, Nov. 3. He gave out P200,000 to four lucky and outstanding citizens.

The digital show hosted by Chemist Pinky Tobiano gave recognition to the stories of a grandfather, a son, a father, and a mother who have shown industry, perseverance, and resiliency amidst poverty and present crises.

The winners had a chance to talk to Mayor Chavit and seek advice on how to survive in their present predicament. While being interviewed by Tobiano and co-host Yeng Constantino, emotions were further stirred when Chavit announced that each of the honorees would receive P50,000 incentive.

During the interview, the “Father of Ilocos Sur” also announced the good news about Gracia Telecom, which aims to solve problems on the internet and debit cards.

He also shared about his program that will grant five full college scholarships to poor but deserving students, whom the mayor will through the help of Grateful Tuesdays.
